2007-2008 Resolutions Team Policy: Resolved: That the United States federal government should substantially change its policy on illegal immigration. Lincoln Douglas: Resolved: That the United States of America ought to more highly value isolationism. Speak Out North Texas (SONT) is a Christian Speech & Debate club for homeschooled students. We support the mission of the National Christian Forensics and Communications Association (NCFCA) by facilitating the training necessary for home schooled students to practice and sharpen analytical/oratorical skills from a Biblical worldview. In the NCFCA, tournaments provide checkpoints throughout the season for students to prepare, practice and polish speeches and debate cases. The mission of our club is to raise up Christian leaders who can articulate their values to an unbelieving world, by facilitating the training necessary to prepare students for NCFCA competition. Speak Out offers Team Policy debate, Lincoln Douglas debate, and Speech for ages 12-18. Junior Speech will also be offered for younger siblings ages 8-11 if there is enough interest and a parent willing to lead the Jr. group. Weekly club meetings are held on Thursdays in Keller, TX, at Bear Creek Bible Church (map). For more information, click Policies. Download our 2007-2008 Speak Out North Texas Brochure ![]() |
